Katsuhiro MAEDA

We will be introducing the copperplate prints and related goods of the unique copperplate print artist, Katsuhiro MAEDA.

While working as an office worker for a major research institute, Maeda also works as a copperplate engraver, using the techniques of etching and aquatint.

His works, which feature endearing characters with unique auras, have as their main themes the inner thoughts we have on a daily basis and the yearnings we direct outward.

The messages contained in the works and the stories that unfold little by little have resonated with people, and the number of fans and collectors is gradually increasing both in Japan and overseas.
