[* What is dichroic glass?]
This special glass is made by vacuum-depositing metals such as gold, silver, and titanium onto the surface of a glass plate. It shines with rainbow or iridescent colors depending on the angle at which it is viewed and the way the light hits it.
Depending on the combination with the color of the glass used as the base (clear or black glass), a variety of colors and sparkles are produced.

Dichroic glass is generally used as part of accessories, but due to its different melting point from regular glass, it is difficult to combine with other glass.

After nearly 20 years of research into glass, June Yoda has succeeded in creating works that combine dichroic and regular glass.
He manipulates dichroic glass, which is said to be difficult to bend, to create a variety of highly artistic glass art pieces, including sake cups, sake cups, and sake utensils, as well as plates, flower vases, and objets d'art.
