This painting depicts a cat grooming itself, created by Sanae Fujiwara, a talented young female Japanese-style painting artist whose works are housed at the Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo.

A charming calico cat is playfully grooming itself while lying down, rendered with Fujiwara's distinctive colorful and bright palette, and the three-dimensional expression techniques using mineral pigments.

Cats with fur patterns that separate like the kanji character "八" (hachi) from their forehead to their nose are considered good luck in Japan and are very popular.

This adorable masterpiece will bring a sense of calm and is something you'll want to gaze at endlessly!

Why not brighten your room with a painting by Sanae Fujiwara, who creates vibrant and energetic artworks using mineral pigments, a traditional Japanese painting material?

This is also a valuable piece for your art collection!
