June Yoda

We will be introducing glass art works made with dichroic glass* by glass artist June Yoda .
We have a wide selection of items, from sake cups, plates, vases and other "usable art" that will add a special touch to your everyday life, to lovely objets d'art.

 

*Dichroic glass
This special glass is made by vacuum-depositing metals such as gold, silver, and titanium onto the surface of a glass plate. It shines with rainbow or iridescent colors depending on the angle at which it is viewed and how the light hits it.
Depending on the combination with the color of the glass used as the base (clear or black glass), a variety of colors and sparkles are produced.
