Kunpei Yoshikawa

Kunpei YOSHIKAWA is a young, up-and-coming contemporary artist who graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School with a major in Japanese painting, but who continues to challenge himself with innovative expressions that incorporate modern sensibilities.

Based on traditional Japanese painting techniques, he uses a variety of materials to create imaginary landscapes and abstract landscapes captured from his own unique perspective, as well as still lifes of animals and flowers.
